"Mayka and Anthony first met during their very first semester at Texas A&M University. What started as simple study sessions for classes like Calculus and Physics slowly turned into something more—late nights solving problems, sharing coffee, and realizing they truly enjoyed each other’s company. Anthony always found a way to make Mayka laugh, and she admired how thoughtful and dedicated he was.

When the COVID pandemic hit, life pulled them in different directions, and they lost touch for a few months. But fate had other plans. Once they reconnected, their bond felt even stronger, as if no time had passed at all.

Their first date was unforgettable: Anthony cooked a homemade Italian dinner for Mayka, a gesture that made her feel deeply cared for and marked the beginning of something more meaningful.

Three years later, they graduated together in May of 2023 and began a new chapter in Houston, TX, where they now live with their two beloved dogs, Rosco and Margo. Today, Mayka is a civil engineer and the founder of Tajima Tallow, while Anthony leads his company, Wagyuru. But beyond careers and titles, what they cherish most is that their story, which began in a classroom, has grown into a shared life full of love, laughter, and dreams."
